Marked, Not Ruined.
LitCon Calgary Public Library
Some stories don't end,
when the last page is turned,
they linger in margins,
in lessons half learned.
when the last page is turned,
they linger in margins,
in lessons half learned.
A spine may be worn,
a corner may bend,
but damage, like meaning,
is not always the end.
Set back on its shelf,
still marked by the past,
not perfect, not new,
but still built to last.
